Interesting picture, no?

This is one of my favourites from the Chicago Series.

Please, tell me what you think though.

Jesus....I've got to take photos more often!

Yeah, that was a very odd lighting effect, there. What happened is that the snow was caught in the wind drifts of a Chicago backalley, and it was partially cloudy too, allowing sunlight to shimmer off the snowflakes.

The composition is superb and you captured the difficult lighting situation beautifully.

Try and fail. But don't fail to try. ;)

Thank you so much!

What I love about this piece is that it was a non-setup job. Which means that I did not plan for that guy to be there, or for any part of the shot.

I just turned a street corner and shot.

This has to be about the pinnacle so far in my photography because the way that I take pictures is that I basically go around a city or an area, and take pictures of the angles, buildings, and interesting textures that make something interesting.

Basically, when I go around taking pictures, I like to portray the way that I see it. So, whenever you see a picture that I have taken, you get a look at my perspectives on life and what the world around me means to me.

What's the best part is when I get something that doesn't look real. It looks almost fake because it is too good to be true.

Yet, this is where the big shocker comes in. The Snow Shoven picture was taken in black in white film, and was not fooled around with in a darkroom of any kind. So, what I want to show to the world is that there are those scenes in life are too good, but never too good to be fake.

It's also a study on what people don't see. It's almost like people are afraid to think in pictures, and colors, and shapes. If a person was walking along the street saw this before them, they would see the dude with the pushcart and just carry on, but never even dare to go beyond that definition, and leave this far behind.

Excellent street capture! If this is what you can do, you should take more photographs!

Street photography is NOT a photograph of an empty street, traffic lights or graffiti. If you want to find out what street photography is really about check out the The Yard Collective [link]

A beautifully expressive shot !

Thank you so much! It's really encouraging to hear a photographer of your caliber say that.

I have a question. Does this photo have the potential of becoming a DD?

Just wondering.
