Interesting picture, no?

This is one of my favourites from the Chicago Series.

Please, tell me what you think though.

Jesus....I've got to take photos more often!

It is a good picture, and it is worthy of a DD =D

Street photography is NOT a photograph of an empty street, traffic lights or graffiti. If you want to find out what street photography is really about check out the The Yard Collective [link]

"STREET" is great fun, but it's NOT pics of empty streets, your feet on the pavement, graffiti, traffic lights, ten poses of your girlfriend, or buildings without people. More info --> [link]

Wow, this makes my mouth drop open in amazement. This is just a great photo. It has a very retro or antique feel too. It is well done in black and white, and the composition is great. wow.

Wow, beautiful looking.
Snow is so visible with the light behind it.
Black and white is perfect for this photo. But I am just curious about two things. One, when I took a look through the gallery, I noticed that all your photos are taken in black and white. They are great but I am just wondering why you choose to photograph in black and white.
:icondocrobert:
Well, I like black and white because I guess it is just the style of Photography that I like to do. My style of photography concentrates more on lines, angles, that kind of stuff. The reason for that is I am very into architecture.

So, I guess in my head I knew that I should be shooting black and white would be best for this kind of thing. And now I know that it is because when you are taking pictures to look at the shapes and lines, the color can sometimes steal the emphasis.

Therefore, if you shoot in black and white, color is now non-apparent, but now becomes contrast, which differentiates from every object, providing emphasis on the shapes and lines.

I hoped this answered your question :)
