Oh, and if you forgot,
you left your soul on the table
not that it's your hand to turn
but maybe it's mine to burn

because your deceit and hatred
have long gone untolerated
not only by I
but the ones that surround, confound you

I didn't realize
through your passionize
that I was once

just

like

you

but there is a soul in me
that strips in console of free
that doesn't stop to your grave or death

but instead it's in your head
were your eyes lie naked in the room of the dead
eating away the shady places that you keep most locked through multitudes of doors and that is where I am in the easy chair and my finger hovering over the last push to send you over the shallow end

because you will not find
in your palace of unkind
no soul, body, or mind,
of someone who was, is, and will forever be,
so blind.

This is a poem that I made for :iconwritingisanarttoo:, which is hosting a contest called Broken Hearts.

I could definitely say that my heart has been broken, and, so, this is my poem to satisfy not only that sadness that I felt, but also that anger.

Analysis:

First Stanza- This basically that the person(s) has left their inner self, their soul left for me to see what was inside of it, without their knowledge. Also, without their knowledge, they accidentally left it for me to see, a victim of their consequence, and know it's my choice to destroy, exploit, terrorize it or not.

Second Stanza: Kind of self explanitory. This people(s) were doing horrible, unmentionable, and unspeakable things to not only me, but my friends. Yet, unknowingly, we were surrounding them in ways that they did, do, or will ever understand.

Third Stanza: I didn't realize that they were not my friends, but, through their passion, I didn't know, and in fact, I was just like them in a way.

Fourth Stanza: But my soul, doesn't console anything but freedom itself, and because of that I can strip to my core, but then, still, people will never understand, not even to said person(s)'s death.

Fifth Stanza: Their madness, their trouble, is not out in the real world, but instead it is in their head, were their lies lay (the eyes are the windows to the soul) in their own problems, which they thought were dead, and where their problems, come back to life, haunting them like a bad dream that they can't get out of. Not to say that they don't deserve it, though, for what they have done.

You see, when people do horrible things, horrible things are done to them, thus is the nature of the world, and karma. And that is where I lie, behind their darkest trouble, waiting to push them off into their shallow end (notice the word usage. The usual saying is deep, not shallow, therefore, an observation saying that there was not much to fall through, or to stop them, from going mad, making it inevitable, but instead of it being circumstance, it was me)

Sixth Stanza:Which brings to the conclusion, that, this person(s) are completely blind, but, then again, they do not notice this either, which would lead someone to leave their own soul open to their very enemy.

What if all the world's inside of your head? What if everything you think you know is an elaborate dream? What if everything around you isn't quite as it seems? What if you could look through the cracks? Would you find yourself afraid to see?

Thank you very, very much!

Do you think its my best yet or no?

I don't really know, so, I'll wait for your opinion.

Actually, I am going to write an analysis for this poem, so that people can understand all the figurative language in it.

Check back within an hour or so to see it!

No problemo.

I'd say, yeah, definitely the best. One-upped my entire gallery, not to mention.

I got it, so I don't think I'll be needing the analysis, but thoughtful nonetheless.

It's pretty cool, I will.

Wow...shit...I was going for a good poem because I am trying to win that contest, but...I didn't think it'd be that good.

At least I have the ablility to write poetry on command, then.

it ends where it starts because i have nothing. i knew it all along, in my heart. i don’t want what i’m becoming. my life came and went. it flashed before my eyes. i’ll never know what i meant, and it came to me as no surprise,
